The 18th Arab Cultural Festival, hosted by Korea-Arab Society(KAS) and sponsored by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, will be held in Seoul and Gwangju respectively again this year. This year’s festival will feature diverse programs including a performance by the National Port Said Folk Arts Troupe of Egypt who are invited to commemorate the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Korea and Egypt, as well as Arab country promotion booths by Arab embassies in Korea. This year’s festival will provide an opportunity for the public to experience the culture of the Arab world at firsthand and broaden Korean people's understanding of the Arab culture, and serve as a stepping stone to enhance mutual cooperation between Korea and the Arab world.
